Search Queries
A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates it. That provider processes the query and supplies any response. We do not retain or log those search terms on our systems.

An email may be retained as needed to prepare and preserve a response. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not keep, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal-history records. The published material identifies how to reach Lincoln County custodians, Georgia courts, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Georgia Crime Information Center, and the Georgia Sex Offender Registry. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party dossiers.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted through a box is governed by that company's privacy policy and its retention and disclosure practices. Review those terms before sending a query because we do not control them.

Links may lead to a sheriff, court, state agency, legal-aid organization, or outside search service. Once you leave this website, the destination's privacy terms control. Read them before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select targeted ads.

The service is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. A verified request concerning a minor's submitted data will be handled by deleting that information.
